3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Bar Hop (Toronto). Pale yellow with an off white head. Learnt something new reading the description as I was confused when drinking this as it was not bretty but now I understand - more IPA with a nice lemon zest, mango, and pineapple aroma, moderate carbonation and mild+ body, somewhat dry on the finish, really liked the mouthfeel but not sure about the beer overall.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2014-03-08. Crisp golden body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma is vaguely floral and funky, touch of lemon. Flavour is similar, sort of floral, kind of bitter throughout. Almost sort of saison like spice accents. Average bodied palate, light carbonation. I liked it, and it is super interesting but I am undecided as to whether or not I want more than a glass of it. Bottle from the brewery, Toronto

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Bellwoods. Pours a pale gold with a one and a half finger, whore head. Aroma has notes of farmhouse funk, bubblegum, candy sugar, and mild citrus. Taste is a slightly sour/tart fruity. Doesnít carry the sweetness of the aroma. Medium body and carbonation. Light and refreshing in the mouth without being overly watery. Overall a very refreshing drink. Would be great in the summer. Would get again.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at Bar Hop. Very pale golden/straw coloured pour. Thin white head. The aroma is incredibly fruity and tropical. Loads of pineapple, passion fruit and pear aroma. Fairly light bodied aroma with a touch of zesty/herbal character. The odd thing is how much Bellwoods house character comes though in a beer that is all Brett fermented. Itís a brightly fruity character with some notes of peach and a bit of tropical fruit. A touch of flint and some grapefruity citrus. Delicious.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
draught. Pours slightly hazy gold, small head. Aroma of exotic fruits and pineapple. Taste is watery, a little funky. Probably better in the summer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at bar hop. Hazy golden pour, delicate carbonation, thin white head, spotty lacing. Aroma of lemon rind, tropical fruit, grapefruit, some yeast, hint of mild funk/cheese. Surprisingly light and smooth. Funk not as present as expected (see description and thanks for the explanation - I would have thought it was just hops). Wheaty body with a clean bitter finish. This is refreshing and balanced. I hope itís around to be a delicious, kick ass summer beer. This batch is a touch on the watery side, but for January. Otherwise really satisfying.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draught at Bar Hop. This is the second version - my rating for the pilot version was about 3.1 - 3.2; very thin and not very funky. THIS one - pale hazy gold, smallish off-white head. Fantastic catty aroma, floral with tons of tropical fruit and a nice bite of funk. Taste - even cattier, solid funk (wokka wokka!) - not much alcohol and just right. Light body, mild carbonation, quick dry finish - excellent frigginí beer. More please.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a clear copper with a small white head. Nose brings out dull wheat notes above all, not really getting any brett here. Flavour brings out some lemony notes, along with very, very subtle funk (from the brett no doubt), and restrained wheat. Itís got kind of a grainy lager quality - at least more so than a brett beer as expected. Drinkable and pleasant enough, but, as "blankboy" pointed out, this doesnít strike me at all as a brett white APA. Decent stuff, but seems a bit confused.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Slightly orange-tinged amber body with fair white head of slight retention and no lace. Nose is strongly of dusty cobwebs and barnyard funk with a similar taste dominated by chewy leather. Body is a bit light with some bold effervescence. Quite good, but you hafta love the Brett because itís full of it!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice light bretta beer. Like a session bretta if such a thing exists. Hops and bretta find the perfect balance here. Pours orange cloudy with decent and lacing. Some kind of herbal, rosemary tinge as well as some grapefruit. Finishes a little bitter. Lively carbonation. Tap at brewpub.
