Floral aroma with notes of hops and citrus. Clear light gold colour. Slight sweetness with mild bitterness. Slight thickness with mild carbonation. Quite a tasty beer without the overpowering bitterness that comes with some IPAs.

Moderate caramel aroma with some grassy hops. Long lasting head. Great mouthfeel with rolling carbonation, taste is caramel and grassy hops. The bitter caramel flavour of this IPA is awesome, very smooth and clean. Medium bodied, very refreshing. Amazing IPA! Definitely tops Roman Candle for my tongue mmm mmm mmm!

Bottle, thanks to DuffMan. Hazy gold-amber colored pour with thin white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, nice dank and citrusy hop, light weed, pink grapefruit, piney notes. Taste is bitter, nice chewy full bodied bitterness, a "real" IPA, fruity hop flavors with a solid maltiness as well, nice rich bready malt flavors. Palate is med-full bodied with strong carbonation, long lingering feeling. Nice stuff.

Bouteille 500ml, gracieuseté de msjpearson, Thanks Mike! Couleur orangée légèrement voilée, mousse blanc cassé abondante. Arôme de houblon résineux, malt, floral, pin, touche d’ammoniac. Goût d’agrumes, floral, malt, amertume moyenne. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen.

Bottle, shared with Parksy and phantomhennes. Thanks Robbie for sending this to me, and Pam for being the mule. Very hazy medium gold, messy white head. Guava, pine, with funky/earthy character and pale malts. Oily and a little dirty, with long bitterness. Oddly rustic, but in a way that makes me happy.

Pours hazy pale amber with two fingers of pillowy white head, good retention and excellent lacing. (4/5) Nose is juicy citrus, pine resin, pale malt, light pepper. (7/10) Taste is mild sweet giving way to moderately strong bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, lingering bitter and slightly spicy finish. (4/5) No bottle date, but I got it from the Bellwoods bottle shop a couple of days ago, so it’s definitely fresh - and it is bright when fresh. This certainly has some of the catty element expected for Simcoe, but in a fairly restrained and polite way. I was a little fearful that the cat would be overwhelming, especially given the name, but it’s better than I was expecting. (15/20)
