COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American style IPA fermented with a Belgian yeast. The hops used add a fresh grassy character that gives way to soft floral notes. The natural Belgian yeast creates unique aromatics with a slightly pungent undertone.

On tap. Hazy yellow to honey colour. Grassy aroma with pungent hops and some yeasty notes and esters as well. Flavourful brew with pine cones and a sweet malts intermingled with some yeasty funk as well. Very good stuff and glad I tried it.

Citrusy aroma with floral notes. Clear gold colour. Medium bitterness with flavours of grapefruit, orange peel, and spice. Medium in body and carbonation. A decent IPA, but underwhelming in the flavour.

Draft - Grassy with Belgian fruity esters and spice. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Creamy with some pithy grapefruit and yeast notes. A bit muddy in flavours

Bottle from the brewery. Cloudy light orangey yellow with a small white head that leaves fine lace. Big grassy nose with some citrus and pepper. Medium sweet malty start with an excellent bitter citrus middle and end and the Belgian yeast providing a lightly spicy character that enhances rather than distracting. Medium slick mouth with soft carbonation and a dry finish. Excellent.

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2014 500mL bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is hugely enchanting, with both loads of hops and Belgian yeast -- bringing out loads of piney hops, some tangy citrus notes, Belgian yeast, and floral notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of piney and floral hops, some citrus, and a wonderful Belgian yeasty note that creates a nice tang on the finish. Exceedingly well-structured and immensely drinkable. Belgian IPAs are a tricky style to get right, but Bellwoods totally nailed this. Wonderful.

Bottle. Another winner from Bellwoods. Strawish colored pour. Fruity and floral Belgian yeast adds a nice dimension and flavor profile. Nice Belgian ipa

Cloudy yellow pour. Nose is citrus hops and Belgian yeastyness. Nice foam sticks around. Flavour is smooth, hops are nice but not overbearing and the Belgian esters add a nice touch ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a light straw yellow with pillowy white top. Aroma is light citrus and yeast. Taste is so pleasant, citrus hop flavouring with yeast characteristics and a little wheat.

Pours mellow yellow with a fantastic craggy one finger cap. Aroma is muted, offering only a vague yeasty bouquet. Lets face it, rating this as an ipa doesn’t quite work. But who cares: this a tasty brew. The taste here is all high notes: swirls of Belgium yeast, grassy tones, a squeeze of lemon & vague notes of pepper. The alcohol is on stealth here. Good.

2014/03/05 - Pours a hazy orange-honey colour with a large, fluffy white head that lingers and leaves ample lacing. Aroma is citrus, floral hops, Belgian spices, grass, bubblegum esters and a touch of farmhouse funk. Taste is citrus, herbal hops, grass, grain, Belgian spice and mild funk. Mouthfeel is medium and chewy with, lively carbonation and a finch that is bitter and mildly juicy. Seems to have more Belgian than IPA notes, but this isn't a bad thing. Rather enjoyable . ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
