On tap at Volo: Aroma: plenty of green hops , alpha C -type. Clean and fresh.
Apperance: hazed dark amber with creamy mid top. 3+
Taste/Palate etc. medium bodied. Medium light support of malt, tad thin. I would like to see heftier malt base for such aggressive hop approach. Other than that fairly good.

This ale poured a cloudy amber colour with an off white, slightly creamy head. No lacing. To the nose there are scents of citrus, hay and grass hops, cloves and vanilla. First sip was alot less hoppy than expected. Slghtly thin consistancy with flavours of passion fruit and grass. Finish is citrus and lightly spiced lingering.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2013 Pale golden pour with a tight white head. The aroma is softly hoppy and a little bit citrusy. Some light crackery malt sweetness on the palate but it’s nicely dry. Very fruity with passion fruit and some apricot on the aroma. A little bit of soft citrus as well. Fairly well-hopped with some UK-like spiciness and a nice assertiveness to the bittering. Solid session ale.

Tap at the brewpub. Pale golden pour. The nose is fairly fruity with notes of orange peel, light toast and a little bit of soft fruit. Fairly light-bodied with a little bit of toffee. Decent APA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I first read the reviews of the "tester" common ale and they seemed to be mixed and the beer sounded plain. This dry-hopped version is great. Very little aroma but there is a faint scent of bready malt and floral hops. Taste is incredibly smooth with some biscuity taste and the hops hit but just very subtly at the end.

Dark gold color, aroma green herbal hops defined and subtle, A fine minerally-drycharactr sets off a sweet fruity body with ripe apple, pale sultanas, some lemon. Hop is nicely green-herbal. Palate is dry, medium-full and lingers with mineral.

An amber ale with a thin light creamy mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light boiled veggies and grassy hops. In mouth, a nice roasted malt with grassy British hops, caramel, nutty notes, not bad. On tap at brewery, June 24 2012.

Draft at the brewpub. Light amber. Aroma rich with caramel and brown butter. Easy drinking, light body. Balanced, sessionable. Good toasty malts, with a crisp finish. Well made. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Orangey-amber. Earthy hop aroma w light caramel. Earthy character, shows hints of toasty malt. Good balance if a little underhopped...I guess this is inspired by Bass as that is the impression I get.

On tap at the brewery. Appearance: Orange brown with a small white head. Aroma: grainy, toasty, a bit grassy. Not a lot going on. Flavour: Grainy with some grassy hops and a hint of cloves, a bitter finish. Good and simple.

Sampled at brewpub. Amber with a thin head. Sweet malty aroma with some milt hops. Taste is good, if a little weak. It is a cream and smooth pale ale. A good session ale, which is exactly what it’s intended to be.
