Bottle (Batch #9) from the brewery, listed as 6.5%. Pale straw yellow with a bubbly white head that fades to a thin pillow top. Refreshing and laid back with a lot going on - peach, oak, white pepper, white grapes, chardonnay, light yeast, epson salt, lemon zest, some hay and straw. Moderate carbonation and full body, incredibly well balanced and smooth, nice funk with a dry and slightly bitter finish. Very good.

Bottle at the Ashburnham Ale House. So complex for the style, but barrel, brett, yeast, and hops all making their presence felt. Great saison.

Batch #10. Fresh aroma, citrus, pine. The taste is like a Belgian gueuze! Grapes, some Pilsner characteristics. It looks exactly like a proper wit, hazy with small white head.

750ml bottle. Batch #1. Golden yellow in colour with a large sustained white head, excellent lacing. The aroma is floral, citrusy, yeasty, fruit and funk. The flavour is funky, some must, light sugary sweetness, yeasty and moderate bitterness, some fruit. Bitter mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, sweet turning bitter. Very nicely done. High drinkability and quite refreshing.

Thanks to Nick for this one!

Refreshing to be sure, Farmageddon clearly gleans a multitude of flavour from the cider and wine barrels it was ensconced in for some time. The beer’d version of a cidery white wine funked by Bretto, a firm effervescence and dry feel and finish drives home the agrestic notes in this blonde Saison.

Opener on Jan 17th 2016 from a 500ml bottle. The brett is apparent upfront as this ale starts with a strong yeasty aroma, some barnish scents with wet hoppy notes. The brilliant sunshinr colour and thin white head brighten this beer. Mellow bitter taste at first but we’ll balanced. Lemon zesty flavours and some light barely apparent mint notes makes this beer slightly astringent. Drink this beer with spicy meat and rich cheeses.
