750 mL bottle. Pours cloudy straw with a massive soapy white head. Aroma is sour and yeasty. Big spicy nose, citrusy esters, lemongrass and ginger. Mildly sweet and grassy with a creamy champagne like texture. A tasty typical saison.

750 mL bottle from the brewery, served in a branded stem glass. Pours hazy golden with a large white head that fades to a thin cover and leaves a minimal amount of lace. On the nose there are notes of lemon, banana, coriander, grass, apple and yeast. Up front, the flavour begins subtly sweet with fruity notes from the nose combined with peppery, spicy notes. It dries out substantially towards the end and closes out with a long, peppery dry finish. On the palate it is light-medium in body with a dry texture and average carbonation. Overall this is a decent saison but it is a little dry and light on the palate for my taste. 2013-03-07

Clear, yellow gold colour with a frothy head. smells like a chardonnay. Aroma also has esters and yeast notes and green apple. creamy round texture with bitter finish, medium body and similar apple like flavours with a fast finish. Tasty brew!

Deep golden pour with a shortish nearly white head. Lots of white wine on the nose with some funkiness and lots of yeasty fruit. Still mostly wine-like on the palate with less funk. There’s a certain breadiness with some fruit and something slightly off in the background.

Deep golden color. Light white head. Dry coriander, black pepper, funky estry, a bit of crack wheat. Hoppy dry, peppery, funky mouth. Moderately hoppy, light body. Very yummy. Dry estry finish.

GC 2012. Sample at Bellwoods. Aroma of yeast and funk. Hops are quieter in flavour than scent. Strong yeast note and light funk taste.

Growler. Hazy lighter gold pour, good sized head. Funky aroma, barnyard, horse blanket, musty, yeast. Lots of funk in the taste, horse blanket, barnyard, slight citrus fruit. Lighter bodied.

Slight hazy golden hue, with a white head, nice herbal floral tropical fruit hop nose of mangos, lychees, with a zesty citrus lemon, grapefruit peel accent, within a fruity belgian saison yeasty aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with very good belgian fruity, peppery yeasty, flowery leafy, tropical fruit, greeny hop character from the Nelson Sauvin and calypso hops used, with a leafy, grassy, light honeyed pale, wheat, toasted malt, zesty, spritzy citrusy flavours, with a herbal, lemongrass spicy undertone, leading towards a zesty citrus lemon peel, leafy, grassy, piney hop bitterness finish.

Hazy blond color. Delicate aroma, spicy, with a light herbal and musky character. Smooth and dry mouthfeel; spicy, good yeast activity, with a hint of coriander and sage; relatively strong bitterness; the final has a grassy trace.
Positively aggressive.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of light fruits, lemon, bready malt, tropical fruits, citrus hops. Flavor of toasted malt, sharp peppery spices, and a fruity finish. Excellent saison, complex, and uber drinkable! 8/4/8/4/16 [4.0/5]
