3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 solidfunk (1786) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 24, 2012
This monogamy series always surprises me in that the palate manages to be so full with just the one hops variety. Pours pale and clear. Nice initial head and good lacing. Aroma of light citrus. Taste is pretty much just lighlty bitter with a little sweet malt. Bitterness actually builds and stays with youu for long aftertaste. These hop highlights are nice because I can compare varieties closley. I think Bravo hops are my least favorite of the series so far. On tap at brewpub.

At the brewpub. Clear light amber, slight foamy head. Nice resiny. Aroma. Balanced.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 kevinsenn (550) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 9, 2012
Bottle from brewery. Pours pale amber, slightly hazy. Floral aroma that’s also slightly fruity. Complex taste - fruity, spicy, piny, earthy. Bravo seems to be an interesting hop variety. Quite bitter, but with some good sweetness to balance it out. Good body, but maybe a little thin, with good carbonation. A good IPA.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 herrbrown1974 (348) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 27, 2012
On tap. Hazy orange. Slightly foamy white head. Aroma has honey, lilac, pineapple, a light spoiled milk funk. Light and slick. Even balance, a little sweet and astringent in the body. Finish is bordering on intensely bitter. Wouldn’t drink it all night, but it’s good and unique.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 yrstruly (191) - Guelph, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 30, 2012
On tap at Bellwoods. Poured gold with a white, frothy head. The aroma was floral hop with some spice and vegetal notes. The taste is somewhat sweet caramel malt, with a pronounced floral-spicy hop finish. Medium-bodied.
