3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
500 ml bottle from brewery. Pours a lightly hazed golden colour with puffy white head. Aroma bursts from the second the bottle is opened with citrusy, slightly catty hops and a touch of grassiness. Flavour has tropical fruits, cattiness and grass with a decently bitter finish. Carbonation is on the lively side. Quite nice.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Peach, grape, tropical fruit and a hint of onion. Smells super juicy. Hazy yellow, with a persistant white head. Interesting hop characteristic in the taste, quite unique -- not much upfront, with the grapey flavors coming through in the middle as well as a bit of the onion, then a very dry finish with bitterness lingering on the tongue. Average carbonation and light bodied. This hop really has a kick. Interesting beer.

Pours a hazy golden with whites head and nice lacing. Aroma of fuity hops, peaches, grapefruits, pineapple, piney. Taste has some fruity and resinous hops, tropical and citrusy, piney, light sweetness and dry finish. Low body and medium carb. Pretty good. Bellwoods is becoming one of my favorite canadian brewery as i have more of their offering.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle [500ml]. Pours a cloudy, bubbly yellow-gold with an average size lasting frothy white head. Some lacing on the glass. Really nice hoppy aroma -- spicy, resiny, hempy and more -- along with citrus and tropical fruit. Flavour is just as good, also hoppy and fruity, with a nice bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. One of my favourite of the Monogamy series and just a joy to drink.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from the brewery, bottled this very month. A controlled subdued creamy orange citrus. Very drinkable and refreshing, but I would like more bold hop taste featuring everything the hop can give me. I guess that’s why they call it a pale.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle from the brewery. Hazy pale gold with a light white head that fades to a nice thin layer. Fresh and somewhat grassy hops, mellow tropical fruit but does not overwhelm the senses, bit of sweetness. Moderate to high carbonation, mild but flavourful body, nice citrus, very dry, smooth, very enjoyable.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
500 ml bottle. Pale straw-gold colour. A creamy white head. The aroma is great. Fresh and hoppy with a bright fruity/spicy aroma over a very lean pale malt base. Passionfruit and tangerine citrus. The beer is crisp and crackery with a little bit of zestiness as well. Peppery and spicy with a clean lingering bitterness. The balance is great with a refreshing dryness. The fruit and citrus notes that I read about this hop having are really highlighted here. Another damn fine beer in this series.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Poured a hazy bright golden color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of fruity and citrusy hops is quite nice with some floral undertones. Taste is also dominated by fruity hoppy notes with some citrus notes with light dry caramel malt backbone with not much residual sugar. Body is full with good carbonation. Love the freshness and the fruity notes of the Galaxy hops and the balanced level of bitterness.
