COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A zesty American pale ale brewed with blood oranges. The coveted Kohatu hop from New Zealand imparts a juicy quality to the well-balanced brew. Bold aromatics of citrus peel, a restrained bitterness on the palate, and faintly pink in colour. This refreshing special edition beer was brewed to support Beer4Boobs Ontario, which raises money for breast cancer research.

Bonne amertume et un léger soupçon de houblon. Un petit goût acidulé se fait sentir. Pas mal mais il semble qu’un des arômes devrait se démarquer un peu plus.

500ml bottle from the brewery in Toronto, Ontario. Pinkish-orange in colour with a thin white head, light lacing. The aroma is of oranges, floral, some grass. The flavour is floral, lots of orange citrus, moderate bitterness. Finishes long, herbal with more oranges.

500mL bottle, sent from beerhugger (thanks Steve), pours a hazy faded golden with a small white head. Aroma is strong on the hibiscus, with orange and light floral notes in there as well. Flavour is fresh and vibrant, with hibiscus notes upfront, light floral notes and some mineraly biscuity notes. Nice and fresh, with a dominating hibiscus finish. Good beer.

Bottle from the brewery. 5%. It pours a pinkish orange that settles into a deep gold in the glass.  The aroma is a luscious hibiscus and orange with a bitter pine finish. The taste is fruity & floral at first then earthy pine and a soft bitter finish. A really subtle but delicious beer.

Pour golden clear with a pink tone, half a finger of white. Fluffy head. Hops nose, resiny, might be summit which is not a favourite, some soft fruit, and grassy malt. Taste prominently of resin hops with bitterness, light on pallet without tasting watery, little fruit and grassy malt, but overshadowed. Drinkable but not a favourite.

Jun 5th, 2014 bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy but bright orange with a half finger, white head that laces well. Aroma is a mix of orange, flowery hops, citrus, and a hint of herbal grass and pine. Taste is balanced. Bready and a touch pungent with notes or orange creamsicle, citrus, pine, and a bit of resin at the end. Medium body and carbonation. Clean in the mouth with a bubbly carbonated mouth feel and a big dry finish. Overall a great summer drink. I get the orange for sure mixed in with some slightly pungent, resin/pine hops.

Bottle from the brewery. Very lightly cloudy pale orange-pink with a small white head that slowly fades and leaves spotty lace. Nose is dominated by oranges with light bread and flowers. Lightly sweet intro followed by a bitter and tart citrusy middle exhibiting orange and grapefruit and lemon which carries through to a dry finish. Mouth is a bit lighter than I would like but the active carbonation gives it a creamy feel.
