3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at the Beers from the Bikes Villes tasting on 11/08/2013. Hazy orange-amber pour with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually. Short strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is hoppy with citrus and malt notes. Medium to full body with flavors of pithy grapefruit, dank hops and malt. The finish is resiny hops up front with a grainy malt aftertaste. Fell short in my opinion.

Tasted a small sample at a BeerThief gathering. Amber beer, nice head. Aroma is a great blend of tangerine, tropical fruit blended with pine. The taste is bitter, but not killer since it blends with malt until you get to the finish, which lasts forever and is just bitter, straight up. Nice beer!

Hazy orange with a thin white head. Bright and astringent aroma. Medium bodied and dry with a harsh hop bitter. The hop flavor is muted and dull compared to the sharp bitter

500ml bottle. Sponge toffee looking head, hazy orange amber colour. Grapefruit, pine and floral aromas from the hops with some sweet citrus and caramel. Taste holds up to the smell, with a hint of alcohol. Warming, thick body. Best Canadian DIPA Iíve had, maybe the best beer in English Canada.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from City Beer. Pours orange copper with a modest beige head and a citrus and toffee aroma. There is a full-bodied caramel malt flavor with a huge bitter hoppy finish., A hefty beer.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours orange copper with a slight beige head. Aroma is a strong cross of earth and cat pee. And maybe sweat sox. Full bodied. Flavor is earthy, floral, lightly citrus. Mild hop burn. Strong flavors. Very. Caramel is almost lost, but does its job. Finishes towards dry. And bitter. Tho not harsh. Amazing hop level.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Giddy up. Bright orange and active, with a nice head. Seductive visual. Same with the aroma. Citric and warm. Drinks with a fulfilling edge. Viscous, warming, rich. Big citrus acidity is in charge, the full malt back one doing its job. (#5234, 8/29/2013)
