12oz into a tulip on tap at Stillwell. Pours a hazy orange-amber with a sparse peripheral white head which leaves a goodly amount of lacing. Citrus nose with some tropical fruit and a bit of woodiness. Moderate sweetness but a lighter body than I’d anticipated. Long, dry finish. A solid IIPA.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours a deep slightly hazy orange with a generous off white head that hangs around for a while. Nose is citrus , mango and pine with some hint of bready malt. Slightly sweet start with some pepper leading into a nice level of bitterness with grapefruit dominant. Medium full body with lively carbonation. Excellent.

Pours cherry sunburst with a thick froth cap that laces the glass nicely. A serious Imp ipa that showcases deep malting & punchy hops. Tasty & rich & a little over rated on this site. Hey - it’s a really good brew, but too many reviewers here -- people I follow & respect for their insight -- over hype this by calling it Ontario’s best Imperial IPA. I disagree & offer these alternatives as more exciting incarnations of the style: Great Lake’s Robohop, Black Oak 10 bitter years, and probably my favourite: Bellwoods own Boogie Monster.

500 ml. bottle. Thanks Steve! Pours a somewhat hazy golden orange with a smallish white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and floral. Taste is grapefruit, pine, floral, and malt. Nice DIPA.

500 mL bottle from the brewery served cool in a tulip glass. Hazy bright amber with a decent white head. Some onion and garlic with citrus, pungent tropical fruits, biscuit malt, pine and resin, nice. Medium body, fine effervescence. Lots of tropical fruit, caramel, sweet fruitiness, lighter resin and pine, quite nice; dry with nice bitterness and a long, resinous and fruity finish. Quite good.

Bigger bottle in a tulip. Pours deep copper with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and fruity and floral hops plus a nice amount of pale and caramel malts with hints of dough. Flavor the same with a nice hoppiness. Average to smooth texture. A good imperial IPA.

bottle. Golden orange pour. Pine and citrus and exotic fruits in the aroma. Biscuity malt and slightly syrupy. Pretty good.

Orange pour with a white head. The aroma has some pine and orange notes. The flavor is a mix of orange, pine and biscuit malt. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

doesn’t get much better than this. iipa without being too bitter but has a very sophisticated hop profile. unfiltered with great head retention, not too sweet and delightful golden colour. tastes grrreat

Sample at the Beers from the Bikes Villes tasting on 11/08/2013. Hazy orange-amber pour with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually. Short strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is hoppy with citrus and malt notes. Medium to full body with flavors of pithy grapefruit, dank hops and malt. The finish is resiny hops up front with a grainy malt aftertaste. Fell short in my opinion.
