On tap at Gig’s - Hazed pale gold with a massive meringue cap. Aroma is sweet malts with citrus and some fruitiness. Medium-Light body has both westcoast and british Pale characteristics. Flavour has a big dose of pale crystal malts balanced off with some leafy citrus and resinous hops - clean drying finish with a bit of lingering bittering. Great drinking pale, extra points for its freshness.

Rated on June 7th, 2014. Pours clear amber, nice foam. Aroma is strongly tropical, silky hop pillow that is supported by a pile of malts - and where youc an also find some mangos, peaches and mandarines. Sweet fruits come forward also in taste, first sip takes all those aromas through your throat, increasing this pleasant sensation. Clear and well-balanced, with a necessary hop-bite. Excellent example of a North American double IPA!

On tap at the brewery. Clear copper gold with a nice filmy off-white head. A piney resinous aroma. The taste is sharply bitter pine, some resin & a solid caramel body. Very nice double IPA not too complex but well balanced.

Nice sticky beer with resinous aroma ad good bitterness though not overwhelming. Nicely balanced beer. Surprisingly good balance while still keeping it interesting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle shared by mathieuc, thanks brah. pours unclear medium dark golden with a small white cap showing some retention and nice lacing sticking. juicy and sweet mangoes, perfumey strawberries, spicy melons, doughy maltiness - caramel mostly, sugary, weedy-danky, peppery and perfumey booziness. moderately low carbonation, medium body - oily, thick and sugary for a relatively sweet citrusy-spicy-piney finish. nice but heavy and unbalanced.

Bottle. Pours amber with low white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of citrus, fruits, caramel. Taste is of caramel, citrus, sugar, resin, pine. Palate: medium-full bodied. Too sweet? Questionnable balance. Overall: Pretty good but a tad too sweet. Nicely hopped.

Bottle thanks to wilco, thanks a lot Mike! Pours a dark golden with a small white head that offers good lacing. Nose is hoppy and fruity (tropical), also offers some alcohol but what do you expect from a 9% IIPA? Taste is pretty sweet, bitter, as balanced as it can be really. Flavors include caramel, pine needles and a bit of raw alcohol. Body was medium, carbonation too and mouthfeel a little sticky. Good, not great, maybe my expectations were too high? Anyway, I’m moving away more and more from heavy beers so take that into consideration.

Tapped at Barhop in Toronto/Canada. After the Amsterdam Brewhouse hoppy visit we went to this place. Overall a great IIPA! malty, sweet a bit, mild hoppy at 105 IBUs. Alcohol present but warming. A balanced IIPA, very very tasty.

Marmalade jam, toffee and tropical fruits on tje nose. Rich toffee malt body, though light enough as to not be a distraction. Big tropical fruit with some pine and citrus. Medium finish.

Beautiful deep golden color. Huge mango, piney nose with a touch grapefruit and caramel. Big malty backbone, very clean, with lots of mango, caramel and pine notes. Full bodied, really well balanced and beautifully executed. Big bitter lasting finish. Wonderful IIPA. Stone fruit also lingers in the finish.

500 ml bottle from brewery. Hazy dark honey colour, off white head with lacing. Smells like citrus and pine. Not much malt presence. Tastes like pine resin, grapefruits. Lingering bitter finish. Yum.
