My Bottom Line:
Cushy cereals and spicy hop fruitiness gel from aroma to finish in this charming quencher.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam sits atop the cloudy pale amber.
-For a moment there, I got the impression I was drinking a brew from a Franconian countryside brewery that had discovered the potential beauty of US hop varieties. The hop dosage, high drinkability, and fluffy, natural smoothness were all reminiscent
-The flavor profile is balanced throughout.
-These flavors might not be super refined, but they are bright enough to be engaging.
-If I were in the Toronto area, I would probably make this my go-to brew.
-The frothy, soft carbonation and slender sugars make for a friendly mouthfeel.

Bottle.

Draft. This is a nice one, big tropical notes, it is light and zippy, light golden in appearance.

A great name for a great twist on a pale. Aroma was of dank peaches and pine, very subdued. Flavour was very similar with danky tropical notes and pine flavours. Had low carbonation and just the right amount of musty notes to make it an interesting sessionable beer.

500ml bottle. Golden orange in colour with a thin but long lasting white head, good lacing. The aroma is lightly hoppy, fruity, tropical fruits. The flavour is of cereal, some spice, lots of tropical fruit hops, some sweetness. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes long, hoppy. An excellent session ale, hoppy and highly drinkable.

Draught at the brewery. Beautiful hazy orange color, medium white head. The aroma is hay, fresh hops and the taste is orange, bitter, amazing balance and a wonderful finish.

Bottle from the Brewpub shop. Hazy, pale. Nice head. The nose is hop pellets, really grassy with fruity notes. Flavour’s similar, subtly sweet, even more subtly bitter. Light to medium body, not much in terms of crispiness. Not bad but leaves me kinda unsatisfied.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear pale gold body with a wispy white head. The nose is minimally hoppy with a light hint of diacetyl and some bready malt. The flavor is a bit better, but there’s still a little diacetyl coming thru the hops on the back end. It’s just a little dull on the flavor. Light bodied with soft minimal carbonation. Meh, this one’s not a winner.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur orangée limpide, mousse blanche fuyante. Arôme d’agrumes, houblon résineux, malt pâle, diacétyle. Goût de houblon résineux, malt, amertume moyenne, diacétyle, légère astringence. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen-faible.

Aroma is a little bit on the grassy side. Hazy amber in appearance. Quite a dry finish.

Bottle shared with and courtesy of Paul. Pours a light golden body with soft white lacing. Aroma is fresh hop and grass. Mouthfeel is medium to soft with notes of grassy hop, clean pale malt, light citrus fruits and grapefruit/orange pith.
