4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
My Bottom Line:
Cushy cereals and spicy hop fruitiness gel from aroma to finish in this charming quencher.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam sits atop the cloudy pale amber.
-For a moment there, I got the impression I was drinking a brew from a Franconian countryside brewery that had discovered the potential beauty of US hop varieties. The hop dosage, high drinkability, and fluffy, natural smoothness were all reminiscent
-The flavor profile is balanced throughout.
-These flavors might not be super refined, but they are bright enough to be engaging.
-If I were in the Toronto area, I would probably make this my go-to brew.
-The frothy, soft carbonation and slender sugars make for a friendly mouthfeel.

[5188-20130406] Tap. Lychee fruity lemon hops aroma. Clear, bright orange body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter lemon orange peel flavour has a ton of citrusy hops. Medium body is quite bitter. Very tasty. (8/3/9/4/17) 4.1

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Big bottle in a plastic hotel cup. Pours golden/amber with a lacy, white head. Aroma of floral and lightly citrusy hops, some pale malts, and some light dough. Flavor the nice with a nice hoppiness for such a light beer. Average texture. A solid beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Really nice! Pours light orange with limited head and quite a bit of lacing. Nose is quite fruity and some pine. Notes of grapefruit, peach, some light caramel, lots of piney hop bitterness. Taste is medium bitter and light sweet. Body is medium full with lively carbonation and a long lasting bitter aftertaste.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention with some good lacing. Aroma of earthy hops with light citrus notes is quite interesting. Taste is a solid mix of citrus and earthy hops with some light dry caramel malt. Body is fuller than expected with good carbonation. Hoppier and tastier than I had expected for a low ABV session-style beer. I wish this was accessible to me.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This APA poured a cloudy dark yellow colour with a minimal head. Scents include pineapple citrus hops, orange citrus hops and maybe a floral hop? First swig was smooth and a little watery. Hop level alot less than expected based on the scents. Flavours of lemon zest and citrus hop in general. Finish was mildly bitter with the citrus shining through.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light amber colour. Decent fruity nose with apples and oranges, very clean. The mouth is moderately light with decent backbone, very well balanced. Snappy hops and really good example of an American Pale Ale. Lovely.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
In short: A chewy and fruity-grassy IPA that is very hoppy but not very bitter. Effective simple session ale.
How: Bottle 500ml, consumed fresh soon after receiving it from blankboy, thanks a lot Paul.
The look: Cloudy dark orange body topped by a persistent off-white head.
In long: The hoppy nose is as fruity as it is grassy, also with a spicy edge and resinous undertones. In mouth the beer offers a comfortable full chewy body with plenty of very soft bubbles. Taste is delicious chewy pale malts with a nice fresh baguette quality, then a good amount of fruity and grassy hops and a little sharp spicy edge. Although the beer is very hoppy, the bitterness is very smooth. Another superior hoppy ale by Bellwoods. A very nice session beer, and to fully appreciate this beer it is recommended you drink at least 6 bottles every day(*)
(*) side effects may include upset stomach, headaches, blurred vision, soiled underwear, weight gain and loss of job.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear darker gold to light orange colour. Fairly muted aroma but there is some citrus and hops mixed with pale malted notes. Possesses a fast flavour profile. Upfront hops a watery mid-palate and some bite on the finish. Not my favorite brew from these folks but overall an okay session beer.
