Has a very light crisp taste of wheat and subtle strawberry. Bad aftertaste of baking soda? Yuk. Petes is way better!

Sample shared by someone at City Beer Store in June 2013. Pours a light golden color with a small pinkish off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet strawberry candy like notes with a strange tart character, strawberry tang, hay. This really is strangely sweet, but not like drinking beer.

This golden beer has a strong strawberry aroma. It isn't too sweet though. It has a very mild strawberry flavor which is well balanced by it typical beer flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Serving type: bottle Apearance- Pours cloudy golden orange with a tiny white head. Aroma- Smell is strawberry (artificial) as some hops T/P- Taste is very light on strawberry; it is there but defiantly more in the smell than the taste. It is a bit acidic at the end and you can detect some hop flavor as well Overall- It was okay, I would probable not purchase this again or seek it out, but if it was offered to me I would drink it.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of strawberry, malt some fruitiness and herbal notes. Flavor is sweet strawberry with some malt and fruitiness. Medium body, average carbonation.

brokensail (9935) - Orange County, California, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Pale golden color with a slight pinkish note to it. Smells like strawberry candy, sugar, and maybe some water and grass. The flavor is more of the same. Really sweet. Light tartness, some sugar, and a strawberry syrup sort of flavor. Sort of a guilty pleasure as I actually don’t mind it.

Golden yellow and see through on the pour. A peachy, strawberry sweet aroma. A little bland, watery and light bodied although, I am able to taste the strawberry taste on the palate after taste.

Strong strawberry flavor comes on quick, then fades to a slightly bitter and dry finish. Crisp, but disappointing in the end.

Aroma is dominated by strawberry with a very subtle earthy hop smell in the background. Light golden color with no foam. Carbonated strawberry soda pop taste upfront followed by some faint oatmeal malts. Overall, very bland flavoring with bubbly carbonation. I’d give this a D- rating.
