Ethereal (927), London, Greater London, England Mar 2, 2008 Gravity cask at the Battersea Beer Festival, 8th Feb 2008. Very clear amber appearance. Great aroma of flowers and apples which leads into a taste of honey and herbs. Very smooth on the tongue too. This is a fantastic light beer. ChristianScheffel (2250), Odense, Denmark Dec 21, 2007 Cask/GBBF. Golden with a lasting white head. Orange, lemon and green hops in the aroma. Dry and hoppy, bitter flavour. jbrus (4193), Delft, Netherlands Oct 12, 2007 Cask@Proeflokaal. Malty and raisin aroma. Light brown color, off-white head, good lace. Sweet, malty, nice hop bitterness, hints of raisin and herbs. Flavorful, nice balance. JorisPPattyn (4514), Antwerpen, Belgium Sep 10, 2007 Cask Transparant, but decent fluffy head, over foxy-amber beer. Bit of caramel, UK hops, dry hop sacks, old hessian. Nutty & caramel flavour, but light & relieved by some good aroma hops added. A bit light for a Best Bitter. Quite some slickness, even sticky, caramel ending. Light bodied, but nice, invitingly tasting bitter. doubelknv3 (489), Illinois, USA Jul 28, 2007 Tasting notes from 2002 Harbury Beer Festival. Lite brown with creamy head. Malt, fruit, and carmely aroma. Carmel, roasted malt, fruit, and mild hop flavours. Bitter finish.
