UPDATED: APR 1, 2012 Bottled A still looking dark amber to ruby coloured beer. The aroma has some fustiness, together with fruit, bready malts and liquorice. Pretty thin in the mouth with some fruit and a bit of tar. Not unpleasant but far from exciting.Score 2.9

Bottled. Quite a heady, chewy dark fruit nose with an inviting malt nuttiness. Stillish and unlacy. Apple-fruity with lots of nutty caramelised malt sugar, and a hint of choc. Decent.

Foggy, red-brownish body under a frothy, beige cap. Fresh hop-floral aroma. Moderate hop resin in flavour alongside a sweety touch. Well balanced bitter finish. Worth repeating (500ml bottle from Centra, Colosseum, Oslo - at home 28.02.2008).
