This beer has a clear and opaque with a golden color to it. It has a very boozy and hoppy aroma. The booze is not that hidden in this beer with all the malt and booze that is in it, considering it is a blonde it is very good. Also the palate duration is very long with orange zest and some hints of corriander. There is also a nice creamy finish which leaves a really nice texture on the sides of your mouth.

This is a very malty, very sugary, very boozey full-bodied blonde that warms the throat, but leaves the palate wanting more, or should a say less (malty sweetness and booze mostly). The nose is spicy and citrusy, with orange zest and corriander. The flavour is extremely malty and sweet, making it easy to take in all the alcohol, that is actually pretty well hidden, which is definitely not suggested by the nose. It lacks complexity and balance, but considering the abv, it is dangerously drinkable. Medium bodied, creamy texture and tingly carbonation make the palate the best part of this brew.

golden amber with a small frothy head. sweet spicy aroma with lots of caramel and some alcohol coming off. medium creamy smooth body. has a taste of candied clove and cinnamon with an alcohol bite that slowly comes through. some honeyed raisins. a little on the sweet side, but...how else do you hide 13%, nice body though not too sticky for how sweet this beer is

25 cl bottle. Pours an ugly orange/amber with a very small bubbly white head. Aroma is neither pleasant nor offensive but just plain. Smells of a very basic sweet malt, slight hints of honey and raisin, and slight alcohol perhaps a touch of wood. Medium bodied with noticable carbonation and a smooth finish especailly considering the 13% alcohol. Flavor of alcohol slightly yeaty and some fruit. Not soemthing that you need to spend a lot of time on since it isn’t that complex or interesting. If your looking to get drunk though I must say it goes down fairly smoothly and although the alcohol is detectable in the aroma and the flavor it is a far cry from the 13% punch this beer is packing.

Metallic vanilla, orange, and coriander aroma. Cloudy orange, thin off white head, good lacing. Very phenolic, noticeable alcohol. Mango and orange notes are dominant with cabbage underneath. Coriander finish. Not particularly well done even for this style, which doesn’t appeal to me.

heavy rich alcohol taste somewhat drinkable tho. totally just tastes like a strong belgian to me at this point very rich still duh malt ok what else this beer is giving me a headache. I think its sold on the basis that it has 13% alcohol. better than some outragious beers with over 11% yet not enjoyable. id rather have wine kinda just tastes like wine and malt and I wish it was the maharaja before it!!!!!

Pours very little head. Dark golden. Very carbonated looking. Malty alcoholly aroma. Pronounced sweetness in the flavor, with alcohol too, followed by hop bitterness in the aftertaste that includes warming in the throat. Not heavy warming like if you were drinking scotch or whiskey, but enough that you notice it. The warmer the beer gets the more alcohol is in the taste. Had been looking at this beer on the shelf for quite some time. Finally tried it only because it was Halloween. Not something I’ll drink on a regular basis. Haven’t found a French beer that I’ve cared for as of yet.
