Bottled 25cl. It pours a nice clear apricot colored beer with a small whitish head. The aroma is of chestnuts, plums, lots of strawberries, raspberries and bread. The taste is of the same with quite an alcoholic punch. Some peaches and apricots. Olive-oil like notes. Full bodied, sweet and nicely balanced. The warming finish is grassy and wonderfully herbal with a nice dry lingering bitterness. Very enjoyable.

Pours cloudy, orange, with a minor, fine head. Aroma is mildly musky with some fruits and a little grassy. Thick mouth feel with a sweet caramel, fruit (bananas primarily), backing. Some alcoholic warmth with a bit of an alcoholic tingle. Large alcoholic warmth to finish. Not bad.

12 ozish bottle shared by DenverLogan during the San Diego Festival of Beer. Sweet aromas with some nice fruitiness. Some more sweet fruit on the flavor, with some alcohol in there too. Pretty good.

13% alcohol. Pours a dark color. Smells sweet, malty, tastes sweet. Not really an everyday beer, but I may get it again.

Bottle from Intermarche, Nr Boulogne, France. Bright gold colour. Aroma of golden syrup and yeast. Taste of sweet fruity cough linctus with a stiff shot of alcohol. There’s a time and place for a beer like this and it’s probably not four o’clock on a warm late summer afternoon.

This beer was interesting. It had an amber body with thin white head, the thing that I didn’t like, were the many little strings floating in it. This beer was very strong, and had an overwhelming amount of alcohol and malts in the aroma and flavor.

Darker, clear amber coloured beer with lots of carbonation and a small white head. Sweet herby roasted alcoholic aroma. Full creamy palate. Finish is bitter, roasted with a throught warming alcoholic touch. NOt bad.
