Bottle. Poured a golden yellow. Nose was of stale malt/isopropal alchohol. Taste was of alcohol, grainy, malty, some sweet tones. Body was a bit syrupy for my taste and the carbonation was too light. The commercial description describes the flavor as of being that of alcohol. I agree... I enjoy alcoholic brews but oftentimes the better a beer hides it’s achohol... the better the taste. This beer would appeal to someone who just drinks to get drunk, not to those who appreciate the flavor and complexity of a decent brew. At 9.95 for a 3-pack, I would not drink this one again. Aweful!

8.4 oz. bottle. Barely there white head into burnt orange color. Aromas of dark fruit and molasses. Flavor is rubbing alcohol with some sweetness (not pleasant). I mean damn...is it supposed to taste like this. Burns from alcohol. Not sure what else to say about this beer. I will finish the beer and let you know if it gets any better. 15 min later: Okay so some of the overpowering rubbing alcohol flavors mellowed. That being said...it was still too much. It was hard to pay attention to anything else in the flavor. This might have been a good Belgium Strong if not for this huge problem.

bottle from Kingdom Liquors - may have to re-rate this one later because I brushed my teeth just earlier - I have to disagree with the last writer - this hides the 13% quite well - especially if I compare to the last Scaldis I had. Virtually no head - very sweet - apple on other fruits, vanilla, malts - I really enjoyed this one - to each his own!

8.4oz bottle. Damn that’s a small bottle. Didn’t notice it right away. Pours a dark, translucent copper color with a bunch of bubbles and a rocky white head and very thick lacing. Smells surprisingly light for a 13% beer. Smells like a Heifeweizen. Light fruits, yeast, bananas. Aghhh. Taste is the most boozy beer I’ve ever tried. Complete alcoholic taste. Jesus. There might be some other flavors under the alcohol but none worth mentioning, the alcohol is right there in your face. I can’t think of a beer that hides the alcohol this poorly. Too much man. Too much, too much.

Poured from an 8.4 ounce bottle into a snifter, cloudy yellow with no head. Aroma was of apricot, pear, apple and other fruit. Taste was sweet with a touch of citrus fruits and a big alcohol wallop that dominted all else. Not much reason to drink this except to get a quick buzz.

Pours a murky orange with a small and dense white head. Aromas of dark fruits and alcohol. The alcohol is dominant all the way through, with a trace of dark fruits. Thin mouth feel with a dry finish.

thick, amber color, a bit viscous, citrusy/fruity, kinda tastes like a watered down whiskey, strong bite but not bad for the alcohol %. A three pack is like 4 bucks not bad
