Nov 12, 2006 exceedingly sweet. hints of caramel and black cherries are quickly overwhelmed by the rubbing-alcohol burn. I really didn’t enjoy this.

Nov 9, 2006 (07.13.06) 8 oz brown bottle from Liquorama. 13% ABV. Best before 28.03.07. Fruity nose. Poured clear amber with small white head. No discernable carbonation. Medium bodied ale that starts with moderate malt sweetness and fruity (plum?) and caramel flavors. Finished the same but with light bitterness. Some metallic aftertaste. Definite alcoholic presence. Smooth. A very good high-alcoholic beer.

Nov 1, 2006 13% ABV and they are not kidding. Eye opening alcohol burn rips through the heavy texture to attack your palate. One devil of a beer.

Oct 29, 2006 Bottle say 13%. Pours bright amber into a snifter. Tan head quickly subsides leaving steady lacing. Sour alcohol aromas. Upfront sticky bubblegum with a cloying sugar alcohol finish.

Oct 28, 2006 8.4oz bottle that says 13%ABV. Light copper color with big high carbonation induced off white head. Nice Belgium ale type spicy yeast aroma with a tad of floral hops. There is also a wedge of aroma coming from the alcohol. Good lacing. Sweet malt and sweet sugar flavor. There’s some slight banana and cherry fruitiness. Nice flavor for a crazy 13% ABV.

Oct 24, 2006 Pours a medium gold with small white head. Soem nice sticky lacing also. Aroma is spicy malt. I thought the alcohol was masked very well. You can taste it but it doesn’t slap you in the face. Flavor is sweet malts and a little spice. I would not want to drink it but maybe once every couple of months. Seems like it would be a nice chilly weather brew.

Oct 21, 2006 this was good honey colored no head. smell like honey and raisin. taste like a hopless barley wine. sweet lushious but short on the finish. it hit the spot after a nice meal.
