Jun 4, 2006 Updated: Jun 14, 200613% 8.4 oz. bottle into Belzubuth glass. Pours a simple clear golden yellowish color with a white head that lighty stays around. Sweet yeast and honey hints come from the aroma. Taste brings out heavy alcohol and malt, citrus, and sweet caramel (a lighter note). Very warm in the mouth and on the palate all the way to the stomach. Is somehow drinkable to me while being heavy tasting in alcohol.

May 28, 2006 Hardly any aroma at all after pouring. Initially opened bottle had a soft caramel scent. Creamy texture that ends with a mild bitterness and extremely soft astringency. Notes of sweet cherries, banana and spice. Sweet.

Apr 24, 2006 13% abv version here as well. Wonderful toffee aromas... good head, very nice lacing. Pours light amber into the glass. Sweet, sweet, sweet... prune and cane to the tongue, with sweet malt notes and caramel/toffee settle in for afterthoughts. Subtle alcohol tones meld with an extremely smooth pull for such a high abv. The mouthfeel is quite warmingly smooth. For those who enjoy sweet malty brews, this is definitely for you. And I do like the style, trust me, but I wish it was a bit more complex. It seems a bit 2-dimensional for me.... alcohol and sugar. But if I ever want to get a quick "up and go", this is the brew I’ll seek. It does the job quite well....

Apr 21, 2006 Im sure this was the 13% vertion. Aroma is seriously alcoholic, however toffee malts and some plums seem to hide it reasonably well. Taste is similarly storng a sweet but drinkable to nearly a dangerous level.

Apr 19, 2006 Tastes like a very sweet, hefeweizen almost. Alcohol is not very prevelant. Light fluffy white head. Bottle proudly proclaimed "13%"
