At first I thought this was something from Unibroue. Ths beer starts off with a complex, brandy like aroma and flavor that follow through to the finish. Add to it the constant presence of warming alcohol which is percieved at half it's level. Worth seeking out if you like Belgians.

Golden with a strong white head. Very sweet, but enjoyoble in small doses. Reminds me somewhat of apple brandy. Overall, not bad, but not for guzzling.

Pours to a nice straw color with a thin firm head. Aroma is nasty, adjuncty, and offsetting. The flavor is almost champange-y, with hints of crab/spice. Effervescent and light, like a sweet ale with many lager qualities, and a medium body. More malt than alcohol, which creeps up on you. Definately an "advanced" ale, not for the beginner.

Vaporous & thick, sweet aroma. Malty rubbing alcohol. Cheesy. Small lacing head over caramel amber clear beer. Thick syrupy body with med carb. Alcohol burn, vapory like wine. Very malty, sweet alcohol & cereal. Finish is sweet and lays about. Light bittering, with nutty sick-sweet after.

pours amber in color with a a doughy/cereal smell, with a very malty flavor that is on the sweeter side. Alcohol isn't as appearant as one would except.

Pours amber/copper with a large, but dissapating, head. Aroma is like sweet gasoline (which I enjoyed, strangly enough). A very sweet start with a heavy alcohol finish. Mouthfeel is weak and carbonated. Aftertaste is dry alcohol. Flavors are extreme and potent but overall very nice. Not very complex (the alcohol kills all subtlety). Not as harsh as many beers with 13% ABV. A good beer, but not for the faint of heart.

After 2 years the aroma's lost some of its alcoholic notes, mostly malty now. The malty flavor's still plenty hot though. Finish is malty and alcoholic, like a young barleywine.

An extremely unbalanced ale. Flavor is reminsicent of a bock, but has a terrible alchohol burn in the aftertaste and is very hard to drink.
