Bottled. I had the 15% version. This was all alcohol. That's all I smelled and tasted. If there were any other flavors I couldn't taste them. Couldn't finish this one.

Thin, patchy head above a dark golden-copper. Caramel-sweet nose. Very smooth and thickish up front; carbonation livens up toward the finish and thins things out. Some "cheap" alcohol notes sprung up on me, along with some "hot" sensations. Malts were sweet (caramel, sugar). Hops were mildly spicy. Dryish finish. Some bitterness resides on the tongue in the aftertaste. Alcohol warms the throat. Overall, not very complex or interesting.

Deep gold to light amber in color, small white lacey head.Aroma is sweet and has huge alcohol notes, and not much else.Burn baby burn!Alcohol and nothing else here, not anywhere near balanced, I love a good high alcohol beer but this is a waste of perfectly good malt and yeast.

Gratuitous use of alcohol here??? Nothing special, stings almost, has an ok malt backbone. Lots of flavor, but Im not rating it that high in flavor because it is all due to the tremendous amount of alcohol. Has some flowery alcohol perfume notes that begin to taste like liquor rapidly. Complexity is lacking. Smells a rum raisin ice cream float with lots of rum and extra sugar in it. Is too carbonated as well.

This is definately a nightcap! Very alcoholic in both aroma, flavour and aftertaste. Well balanced for such a strong beer, both sweet and spicey. This goes for both the bottled and the canned version.

I can understand some people like this beer but I think that the alcohol level does not let you get the taste, it is too strong. By the way it looks it seems to be made for those guys that want to seem more MACHO MEN getting stoned. To rude, don´t try it.

I am almost afraid to give this a less than average rating, due to the fact that evaluating the “Lord of the Flies” may result in my tortures demise.-- My beer was the newer and lighter 13% abv. This beer poured a majestic golden color with a large frothy white head. It had an orangey grain alcohol nose and an oily palate, but the flavor was yeasty and sweet, like molasses. I guess this sweetness was the attempt at hiding the alcohol. Belzebuth is a decent brew and is definitely worth a try due to its distinct personality; but over all I was not so impressed. – I did get a buzz from drinking this beer.

bottle from toronado - hard to describe, extremely dfferent beer, the alcohol is hidden rather well but it is very sweet and malty, i dont think i would drink this very often because of the flavor, but it definitely be tried out and experienced
