First I confused this beer with Lucifer, but evil is evil and this one is no exception. Offensive alcohol taste, sweet low quality malt.

This was absolutely brutal. I can say that it was hard as hell to split and 8 or 11 ounce or whatever size it was. I get pleasure from drinking forties when compared to this. All malt, and all alcohol. I'd rather eat a bowl of cherios soaked in vodka.

When you walk into a beer store and look for something new and see beer with a label that say 15% ABV on the foil surrounding the cap you just have to try it. It poured with a gold body and an off white heat theat is completely diminished. A sweet caramel maltiness in the aroma with alcohol. A flavor of sweet malt and a hint of caramel that is taken over by alcohol. Very warming. Not well balanced. How can you have a nicely balanced beer with 15% alcohol??

May, 2008 Nice colour. Smells and tastes like a strong lager. Carlsberg Special Brew with a fancy name. Well, a bit nicer perhaps, but still fairly one dimensional. [1.8]
July 2009 250ml bottle, brought back from the Pyrenees by Bridget. Tastes like a fiery and crude Strong Lager. Some perfume in the malt. Bock, malt liquor, strong lager or strong blonde ale - the end result is a strong pale beer with too much alcohol for my taste, but lovers of strong beers will give it higher marks. Really crude stuff - the Carlsberg Special Brew is tastier. [1.4]

Aroma is verry ho-hum. Smells of slight malty sweetness. Color is a nice shining golden-copper, with a tad bit og head. The alcohol is too overpowering in my opinion. Beer is sweet tasting regardless, hints of orange in it. Not enough malt or hops to give this beer anymore of a profile.

This beer is different. Aroma is very fruity with a hint of malt. Its color is an orange amber with a quickly disappearing head. I could clearly hear the bubbles pop, like soda. Flavor is very fruity, and alcohol, with just a hint of malt and hops, like champagne with a bit of beer added. If the malt and hops were stroger it wuld balance the alcohol anf fruitiness nicely. This beer is ok for what it is supposed to be, but it does not appeal to me. I enjoy champagne, and I enjoy beer - but not mixed together.

This is such drinkable Ale, even though it has the ABV on a Barley Wine. It slides down like ice tea.

This beer poured a copper gold color and formed a nice foamy head that left some foamy lace as it subsided. A heavy aroma of malt, fruit and spices with a hint of the alcohol present. A heavy amount of carbonation is present. A flavor of malt and fruit with elements of the alcohol present.
