Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 22, 2005 A copper colored beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is strong with notes of alcohol, caramel, toffee, and malt. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of caramel and toffee, as well as lots of alcohol, that gives a lot of warmth in the mouth and throat, the end is dry and sticky. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 22, 2002 Red/orange. Extremely sweet, which hides the enormous alcohol content well, but also makes it taste awful. Way, way too sweet. Papsoe (10551), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 2, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) 15% ABV version. Fully golden with a dense and pretty head. Naturally quite alcoholic - but not really any worse than a European strong lager - with a high degree of sweetness . Has a spirituous almost sherry-like edge. To be enjoyed in very small quantities. 191201 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Nov 21, 2000 Intense alcohol flavour. Hard to figure out what to make of this. yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 12, 2008 25 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a slowly collapsing off-white head. Dense malty aroma towards fruity. Flavour is mild yeasty which I assume provide the almost Belgian fruit esters to an alcohol dense and quite malt based beer. Solid warmth in the finish from the alcohol.
