Light amber color, smallish head. Aroma of caramel, a off-putting fruit blend and lots of alcohol. Flavor is unique but not in a good way. Seems that high abv is it’s focus. Could not finish this one,

(07.13.06) 8 oz brown bottle from Liquorama. 13% ABV. Best before 28.03.07. Fruity nose. Poured clear amber with small white head. No discernable carbonation. Medium bodied ale that starts with moderate malt sweetness and fruity (plum?) and caramel flavors. Finished the same but with light bitterness. Some metallic aftertaste. Definite alcoholic presence. Smooth. A very good high-alcoholic beer.

8.4oz bottle. Damn that’s a small bottle. Didn’t notice it right away. Pours a dark, translucent copper color with a bunch of bubbles and a rocky white head and very thick lacing. Smells surprisingly light for a 13% beer. Smells like a Heifeweizen. Light fruits, yeast, bananas. Aghhh. Taste is the most boozy beer I’ve ever tried. Complete alcoholic taste. Jesus. There might be some other flavors under the alcohol but none worth mentioning, the alcohol is right there in your face. I can’t think of a beer that hides the alcohol this poorly. Too much man. Too much, too much.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2005 Bottle at Kellys in Dunedin. Pours a translucent amber with a medium, off-white head. Aroma is very sweet, yeasty, grainy, banana, and a lot of alcohol. Taste is very swee too with grapes, bananas, some light maltiness. Finishes with big alcoho bitel. Medium to full bodied. Despite the dominant alcohol explosion I liked this one.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2003 Clear, light copper. Head died quickly. Sweet malty nose with hints of sugary pineapple, banana and alcohol. Very sweet malt on palate, alcohol moderatley burns inside mouth and down throat. Very warming and not very good. Not for me but I will try again as my palate matures.

(FRANCE) This Belgian style brew is courtesy of fellow knight The_Captain, thx. Hazy orange / amber color with a med-white head. The aroma is of fruits and spices with a slight tart / alcohol feel.,But the 13% is well hidden !!! Great label, and the best beer from france for me so far. Will drink again !!

Overpowering! intense alcohol and maltiness taste(no kidding with 15%abv)but the lager didn’t do anything for me I guess it was ok to try it once.
