Sooooo strange. Light copper, almost orange color, with a very weak head. Fruity, candy-like nose, (see also delbomber’s rating, dried pineapple smell is dead on). Terrible, musty taste. Spicy and fruity at the same time, impressively weak alcohol taste (for 15%abv) but its just not good.

strong overpowering ale, chases a profile of a Barely Wine, but not that, sweet. some malt, and a similar sweetnees, alcohol dominates, no complexity, just a beer for the cold times.

Wet metal and raw sweet corn are very prevalant in the nose. Cloying entry begins with canned peaches and finishes with a warm boozy push from behind. At lower temperatures the still dissovled bubbles do provide a little umph to the brasseire. All in all these are fake, not well doctored. Reminds me of workingn in the back of a grocery store, the smell of road dirt, sheet metal and punctured soup cans. Overall the sweetness of this "all malt," creation coupled with a strong aroma of first run rum is great for a buzz, tough for a rating.

Jeanne d’Arc 15% - Poured copper/brown with little head. Tastes of sweet malt and syrup/molasses. Much more flavors become apparent as the ale warms. The sweet flavors gives ways and the alcohol is more prevalent. Almost reminds me of a smooth whiskey.

Belzebuth Pours honey colored with a medium white head. Lots of lacing on the glass. Nice aroma of Belgian yeast, grapes, alcohol, and a malty sweetness. Some weird keg beer aroma in it. Flavor is light and does not show the alcohol as much as one would expect. Some honey and slight grape flavor with a mild yeast character. Slight warming finish. Better than I expected and nice crisp mouthfeel. Better than the rating suggests.

Thick look to the pour. Lot of alcohol in the nose, and oh yes I noticed some fruityness somewhere in there, too. Sweet and full alcohol in the taste. A thick beer, not hopped enough for me.

Pours amber with off white head. Aroma is very weak, a bit of spice and grassy hops. Flavor is more spice with a bit of malt and a hint of alcohol. Not too bad for 13%. It’s ok.

15% pale ale. Interesting. Decent head and light alcoholic aroma. Hops are easy on the palate with a subtle maltiness. needs more malt to balance alcohol.
