Bottle dated 2008 - pours murky brown color - this looks as though it came from the swamps of Louisiana. No head to speak of. Aroma is light, but had some caramel malts, booze, light fruits and a general sweetness - nothing great, but nothing offensive either. Flavor is actually quite smooth - some years have mellowed this one out greatly I have to assume - caramel, vanilla, malt, candy - very sweet overall. Palate is slightly slick, and very boozy still. I opened this one up expecting the worst, and came away greatly surprised. Quite easy to drink, smooth and far from being ’offensive’.

Clear, pale amber body with a small, off-white head that is fairly short-lived but it laces the glass well. Quite strong and dry aroma of pale malts, Belgian yeast, fruits and spices. The taste is absolutely not dry, it’s very sweet malty with a quite long-lasting moderate bitter finish. Strong malty sweet flavour of pale malts, Belgian yeast, sugar, corn flakes and lots of alcohol. Almost full-bodied, oily texture, moderate carbonation.

Ca attaque fort sur l’alcool et ça continue. Difficile d’apprécier d’autres arômes. Finale matée. Sans intérêt mis à part que ça saoule vite.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy toffee aroma. Sweetish malty spicy toffee flavor. Has a sweetish malty spicy toffee finish.

Pours clear pale body with no head. Aroma has lots of alcohol and malty background. Taste is high sweet malty, low bitterness, earthy. Body is full, low carbonation.

Aroma of malts, sugary, alcohol. Flavour is sickening thick sweetness and unpleasant strong alcohol. Of little worth to me, I just don’t like strong boozy beer with little in the way of aroma, not to mention the sweetness.

A bit too sweet for my taste. The sweetness masks the high alcohol %. Not bad at all, but does not really taste like real beer. Nice bottle though.

The color is a clear orange with a small white head, and the aroma is boozy and reminiscent of bread malts. The taste is quite boozy, mildly sour, and a touch sweet, and the palate fuses a medium body, oily texture, aaverage carbonation, and a boozy but short finish.

Nice amber colour with a malty smell. Strong taste, hints of brandy. It would have been nice with more prune taste as this fits better to the type of beer.
