3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Dogbrick (6058) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 23, 2013
Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a slightly hazed dark amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with a citrusy hops character and flavors of roast malt and caramel in the background. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent IPA overall.

One of my favorite IPA’s. Great beer. Nice color and aroma. Pretty bitter but has nice hop aroma.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 crackedmachine (412) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Pours clear golden-orange with an airy, bubbly white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is sweet and hoppy, with elements of fruit and citrus. Flavor is bitter at first, then sweet citrus/tangerine/grapefruit, leading back into a bitter finish. Thin and light-bodied, but very flavorful. Refreshing and quite enjoyable.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 bb (5888) - Alamo, California, USA - SEP 5, 2012

Cask at GBBF 2011. Copper orange color. Aromas and flavors of orange marmelade, mango and pineapple. Firm bitterness. The taste is dryer than aroma with nut maltiness in the background. Very drinkable and smooth IPA, nice.
3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Zymurgeist2 (625) - Redwood City, California, USA - NOV 10, 2011
On tap at the brewery. This beer has a great aroma and the Cascade is prevalent. Deep amber with some haze and a white, well carbonated head. A nice taste, but the hops are not there as much as hoped and the malt has a bit of a kick midway through the palate.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Christian (9697) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2011
Cask at the GBBF 2011. Amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of figs and other fruit, grass and biscuit. Sweet toffee and caramel flavour with grassy hops. Lots of bitterness but not the most exciting hop character

2nd August 2011 GBBF Cask. Light hazy amber beer, tidy off white suddy head. Mild citrus. Some semi raw tasting pale malt and caramel as well. Smooth semi dry finish. Bitterish aftertaste. It’s a slightly better beer than my downbeat description!
