Bottle:   Golden straw, cloudy, large frothy white head, sticky lacing.   Sweet citrusy hop nose.   A little candyish in its sweetness.   Smooth sweet citrusy hoppiness on the tongue.   Now this stuff is good!   Hops linger, but also this citrus zing that’s rather sweet.   Rather well balanced between bitterness and sweetness.   Lingering citrus bitterness at the finish.   Glad this has a sweet aspect for an IIPA.   Could stand to be a bit maltier, but as is its well balanced.   I could drink several of these. Yeah!!!

Strong biscuity malt backbone with light sweet caramel accents. Thin looking copper body with zero head off the daft. Big citrus components highlighted by grapefruit. Piney with a slight resinous aspect.

Draft at Belmont Station. Perfectly adequate for an I2PA, though I didn’t catch onto the Award-Winning characteristics.

GABF 2007: Poured an almost clear golden yellow color with a medium off-white head. Hop forward citrus aroma with some biscuity malt underneath. Big but not overdone. The flavor had a great mix of big citrus and piny hop on top of malt. Medium to full bodied and nice warming in the chest. This was one of the better IIPA and beers I had at the fest.

hazy dark yellow, creamy off white head, big sweet crystal malt aroma with lots of citrus and pine hops plus a bit of sweet fruity tangerine, creamy body, lots of liquid hop flavor, sweet tangerine and citrus character, crystal malt adds sweetness, a nice bitterness comes in to balance it,
