SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, USA - AUG 10, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Clear gold with a lasting head. The aroma has a touch of fruity, english yeast and some caramel and bread. The flavor has some pale caramel with a ruity english yeast character and some mild, spicy hops. Smooth texture with a medium-light body. Not very hoppy (duh) but has a nice creamy malt flavor and yeast character that gives it personality.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Slightly hazy golden color. Sweet very flowery and honeyish aroma and flavor with some fruity hops. Rounded and mellow. Although this was first beer of a day, this felt too mellow and low on hops.

Orange in colour. Smells of liver and offal. Sharp palate, also a little slick. Dull mashy body. Sweet, hopping low. No reason for this to exist.
