Golden-orange in color. Very crisp, light and lively on the palate. Sweet - but light - malt base. Aromatic and flowery hops were nice. Mild bitterness in the clean and dry finish. Not overwhelming with flavor, but easy to drink.

"It has a lot of hop flavor and aroma without being excessively bitter." Ummmm, no. I can’t see this as a pale ale, as it even underhopped and really boring...for a blonde/golden. Not understanding the hype I’d heard about this place. Color by numbers beers at best.

Draught at the Bend Brewery Co. brewpub in Bend, OR. Very light grassy aroma. Pretty clear medium straw color. Mild sweet maltiness / a little bit buttery in mid (diacetyl?) / finish is smooth and minimally flavored. Thin body. Not bad, but not very inspired either.

Tap at Bend Brewing, Bend, 23/05/13. Clear golden with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, light citrus, caramel, summer fruits. Taste comprises light malt, lemon, caramel, vague hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonatin, crisp finish. Refreshing APA but a little bland and not much in the way of hops.

Sample at the brewpub. Mostly clear golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and bready malt. Light body with flavors of grassy hops, malt and citrus. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Just average overall.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Slightly hazy golden color. Sweet very flowery and honeyish aroma and flavor with some fruity hops. Rounded and mellow. Although this was first beer of a day, this felt too mellow and low on hops.
