Golden-orange in color. Very crisp, light and lively on the palate. Sweet - but light - malt base. Aromatic and flowery hops were nice. Mild bitterness in the clean and dry finish. Not overwhelming with flavor, but easy to drink.

On draft at Bend Brewing. Nose is sweet malt and slight must. Flavor is thin, resembling a lager, but the palate is thick and less fizzy than would be expected.

Draft at the brewery. The aroma is subtle, the malts are all I can detect. The flavor is bready, there is a soft sweet maltiness. Very little hop character. Beer is clean.

Clear golden colour with small white head. A weak aroma of sweet malt. Mild hoppy flavour with some fruity notes. Unimaginative.

"It has a lot of hop flavor and aroma without being excessively bitter." Ummmm, no. I can’t see this as a pale ale, as it even underhopped and really boring...for a blonde/golden. Not understanding the hype I’d heard about this place. Color by numbers beers at best.

Tap at Bend Brewing, Bend, 23/05/13. Clear golden with a thin white head. Nose is pale malts, light citrus, caramel, summer fruits. Taste comprises light malt, lemon, caramel, vague hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonatin, crisp finish. Refreshing APA but a little bland and not much in the way of hops.
