On tap at the brewery. Black with some garnet around the edges. Beautiful beer, but the accolades stopped there. Some chocolate and roast that just didn’t follow through on the appearance.

Draft @ te brewpub. Pours a black color with a small creamy off-white head. Has a roasted malty creamy aroma with hints of chocolate. Roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavor. Has a smooth roasted malty chocolate finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

On tap at brewpub in Bend, OR--Dark black body with a slightly reddish tinge. Thick beige frothy head. Roasted, nutty, chocolate, coffee bean, oat nose. Robust, creamy, toasty, oaty flavor. Blankets tongue with silky, milky delight. Residual chocolate malt and chocolate milk notes. Yum!

Just said a stout, whatever. Black body. Aroma is roasted to all hell with notes of coffee, chocolate and a hint of caramel. Bittersweet finish. Enjoyable, but not all that interesting.

Cream stout - Deep dark brown, with ruby edges, small ring of bubbly brown foam. Acidic roasty chocolate nose, boring typical stout flavors. Creamy, but really weak and muddled.

Very black, though I saw some burgundy poking through. Creamy, from the nitro, of course. Notes of wood, must, watered-down coffee and chocolate truffle. Hints of sourness throughout.
