4.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Angeloregon (2054) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 26, 2007
I was compelled to return for the second day of the tastival because of this beer. Brewer Tonya Cornett is renowned for her killer brews and this 2006 orange-copper old ale was no exception. Small nose, medium white head, dark bodied and quite malty was this scrumptious brew.

GABF 2007. A smooth, chocolatey palate. Reminiscent of Iron Hill Old Ale. A nice change of pace from the IIPA and imp stout overload of the fest. Very good.

Ruby colour with lasting head. Sweet malt aroma. Full flavour with a lasting finish that pleases. Much alcohol warmth.

Draft @ brewpub; creamy tan head and dark brown; clear reddish along the edges; sweet malt, brown sugar and dates; mild peaty-ness too; smooth, fruity and dangerously easy to drink; malty, sweet and sugary; damn good
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - NOV 21, 2006
Pours a dark red/brown with a light tan head. Very sweet up front but a big hoppy finish balances this out well. Caramel and toffee flavors up front, nice earthy rum flavor to the malts. With all the hops this will age well. Very full bodied and smooth.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 savnac (1365) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - AUG 29, 2011
22 oz bottle. Deep amber with a hint of brown and a small dense beige head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, pine and herbs. Rich toasty bready malt with some sweet caramel malt and a firm hop bitterness that keeps this balanced. Medium body with average carbonation and a smooth, almost creamy mouth feel. This is a real nice beer, aroma is ok but the flavor is full of rich malt and sweet caramel.

Fruity aroma. Dark coloured strong in alcohol fruity and hoppy with a crisp and bitter finish.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 BückDich (5468) - McCall, Idaho, USA - MAR 9, 2005
Sampled draught at Bend Brewing Company, Bend Ruby color with light head & excellent lacing. Nose of great gummy bears & starburst. There’s notes of lots of sweet malts actually, nice body too. Hoppy flavors blend somewhat into the high ABV which burns burninates the palate quite aggressively.
