Black as all hell with a creamy, light-tan head. Roasty and sugary, coffee-like nose. Creamy and smooth texture with a little weight to it. Freshly roasted coffee notes wafted in the aroma. Flavors of milk chocolate, bitter coffee, and a lot of roast. Sweet underside -- especially up front -- but fades away behind coffee flavors and a bitterness. Slightly zingy hops on the tongue. Pretty good porter.

Dark brownwith reddish notes with an off-white head, and a light roasted malt aroma. Malts dominate the flavors, with a little too much sweetness. Drinkable, but not something I’d choose over Black Butte Porter just down the street.
