Bottle: Deep golden, smaller, slowly collapsing and lacing white head, shy sweet-malty nose with a tinge of bisquits; light sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; almost a watery finish with traces of malt and hops. B&B: bland and boring........

Draught at their brewpub in Muhlhausen. Sold as a bockbier. Big fluffy beige head. Aromaticaromawith chrystal maltiness and dried red cherries. Complex chrystal malt taste with several sorts of chrystal malts. Low bitternessthat don’t match up the sweet malts.

(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet malty, bready nose with a whiff of caramel and a light hoppy background. Sweet flavour, cara-malty, bready taste, light to medium bodied, soft on carbon; medium-dry, moderately sweet, malt-accented with a faint whiff of liquorice and a shy hoppy blend. Nice, strong malty Festbier.
