Bottled, 330ml at Exils, Strasbourg, France. Reddish brown with cream head. There is a rich, fruity note in the malts, red currant, blueberry then a tropical fruit hoppiness. Good presence on the palate, rich with just a light caramel background. Pretty good.

Wow. The aroma is sublime. Grapefruit and citrus peel: all that’s zingy, with a rich tropical bouquet of honeydew melon, papaya and passion fruit. Absolutely beautiful. Taste is initially an explosion of all that’s floral and fruity: like a good English old fashioned kettle drum dark marmalade: rich and fruity. But if the marmalade were made of grapefruit, papaya and honeydew melons. Taste is similarly exotic yet very bitter. it’s not sweet at all, probably due to the dry hopping . too bitter tbh. But rich and satisfying: it’s not weak in any way. But as the French usually pack beer with so much caramel and sugar: this is fabulous as it retains the hop bitters that will have created the floral taste in the first place. Excellent!

Bue à la pression. Couleur rouge ambré. Nez fruité sucré. Au palais belle amertume, malt, pas de sucre. Finale longue. Cool !

Huge, dense yellow/cream head over well-carbonated copper-amber beer. Again very fruity hops’ nose, citrus, passion fruit, lychee, mango. Little bit cheesy, bit caramel too. Bitter-fruity, underlying sweet & caramelly malts for a succesfull balance. Bitterness is ever so slightly metallic, but nowhere disturbingly. Citruszeste. Medium bodied, very carbonated, spritzy feel. Long-lasting flavours, getting drier and fruitier than the main taste at the same time. Another excellent ale by Bendorf. Respect!

dryhopped with Chinook (not Summit) according to bottle label; nose: a lot of citrus, mainly grapefruit, some wood/pine hints, caramel malts - nice! taste: pink grapefruit, and a lot of it, nice caramel body, grapefruity bitterness at the finish, very dry/mouthdrying; could do with a bit less of dry-hopping to let the hops shine more.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A brown mahogany opaque beer witha big white head ; medium retention. Aroma of resin, fruit (tropical fruits, citrus), spices. Medium to heavy bitter dry ; light sweet. Light to medium body, medium texture, average carbonation, dry bitter fruity finish. Overall, a pleasant bitter fruity ale ; light.
