3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a slightly hazy deep golden color. Tangerine, lime, and apricot begin the flavor profile, with wheat, yeast, and clove hitting mid palate. The finish is fairly sweet, accompanied by coriander and subtle banana esters. Lightly toasted malt becomes more pronounced.
Overall, a nice hefeweizen.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: Very gummy and yeasty overall; some clove and only a touch of banana. Actually, some light, but not negligible, noble hop presence, which is unique among Hefeweizens for me. Appearance: Beautiful honey gold body that is mostly hazy; the head is off-white and sat upon the liquid with a still creaminess. Flavor: Mostly matches the nose, but without so much banana. Still very yeasty, but not at all sweet, and really dials back the clove as well, but allows for some citrus. There is some noteworthy noble hop presence towards the finish without being bitter; the dryness persists but never becomes secco. Palate: Magical. Fluffy and light, nearly like drinking air. Light body, sticky texture, effervescent carbonation, slightly medicinal finish. Overall: Really fascinating Hefeweizen, but I must admit I missed some of the sweet, juicy fruits of other versions. Maybe I’m just too white trash for this very classy beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours orangy, finger white head.
Smell sweet citrus, kind of a lager yeast going on.
Taste caramel and fruit
Atypical, not sure if it’s a hefe or just a weisse. Nice

3.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Considerable off-white head that dissipates to a rocky surface. This drink’s best feature is its color, an organic looking amber-orange and impressively cloudy. Flavor is typical but tasty. Something in the smell is yeasty in a somewhat offputting way but you get used to it. Feels like it looks, full and thick, but somehow not heavy or filling. That alone is interesting enough to recommend.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is wheat, cereal malt, light clove and noble hop. Appearance is golden brown orangish with huge foamy off white head that lingers. Looks more like a Dunkelweizen than an Hefe. Taste is wheat and cereal malt forward. Some clove present as well. Hop bitterness barely present, slight noble spiciness. Palate is medium full. Sweet malt and cereal linger. Overall this is a nice beer but not really a German Hefe. Too dark and the cereal flavor is quite pronounced. Yeast isn’t doing much in this beer. Still, its unique and a nice drinker.
