On tap in Wetherspoons Bar O2 Centre. Orangey tan colour, medium white head. Sweetish as weizens go, some apple less banana or clove. Slightly thin body. A solid summery weizen without being extraordinary.

Douberd (2612) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - APR 21, 2014
Bottle 500 ml at home, bought at the local Plus supermarket. Poured into a weizen, ABV 5.4% Deep golden orange colour on the body, slight hazy, with a two fingers tall white head, thick, with good retention, light lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat, malts, a bit of straw too giving it a somewhat "heavy" smell, yeast. Taste of wheat, much more barley malts than wheat, light metallic notes, stale hops. quite sweet all in all, missing something. Medium thin body, good carbonation, quite dry on the palate. Overall an average one.

Mitäänsanomaton vehnä, ei millään tavalla innosta. Laimean tunkkainen. Puolikämänen. Kylmempi pitäis olla.

Pour from bottle, amble in color with adequate head, liquid is rather lively. Smell citrus and taste caramel with little aftertaste. Another typical German wheat beer.

500ml bottle. Crystal clear pale amber, huge rich foamy slightly off white head. Grainy nose, smoe floral and perfume notes, alittle yeasty spice. Flavour is sweet malt, touches of banana. Light, not overly fizzy. Short finish with touches of clove. Not overly complex but enjoyable all the same.
