50cl bottle at home. Pale orange with a large soapy white head. Medium body with light to moderate carbonation. Sweet with a slightly botter finish. Wheat, yeast, banana combined with some herbs and vanilla. A very nice hefeweizen.

From a supermercado, somewhere. Opaque muddied orange with a high bloom of foam. Nose of warm OJ, some Southern Comfort and sick. Better flavour; paper-edged but with decent banana and smoky clove esters and a lemon puff biscuit finish. Hints of dank and TCP yeast. Not brilliant but in the desert I’ll take it.

Bottle form Jupiter, Kyoto Station. Bready nose, wheat, light citrus, lightly estery with some cloves. Quite grainy. Very cloudy, dark golden with a fine, tight head. Sweet, more esters, orange, wheat, bread. Fruity fruity with a nice little tartness. Not all that special, but decent.

Bottle. Poured a orange tan color with huge two finger head. Good lacing. Aroma of banana, banana bread, slight orange/lemon, bread. Texture is on the creamy side with some slickness. Average to above average carbonation. Tastes great. Enjoyed.

On tap in Wetherspoons Bar O2 Centre. Orangey tan colour, medium white head. Sweetish as weizens go, some apple less banana or clove. Slightly thin body. A solid summery weizen without being extraordinary.

Bottle 500 ml at home, bought at the local Plus supermarket. Poured into a weizen, ABV 5.4% Deep golden orange colour on the body, slight hazy, with a two fingers tall white head, thick, with good retention, light lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat, malts, a bit of straw too giving it a somewhat "heavy" smell, yeast. Taste of wheat, much more barley malts than wheat, light metallic notes, stale hops. quite sweet all in all, missing something. Medium thin body, good carbonation, quite dry on the palate. Overall an average one.

Review according to BJCP2008 guidelines (style 15A). Draft version from 5L keg. AROMA: very low wheat aroma with a somewhat sweet mixed aroma. no esters, phenols or hop aromas. APPEARANCE: dark golden color with orange tint. no haze with long lasting white head. TASTE: very low watery wheat flavour. some residual sweet flavor present maybe due to adjuncts. no phenols or esters. no hop flavour. PALATE: thin body with medium to high carbonation. watery sensation maybe due to draft version. OVERALL: a poor, watery weissbier with sweet after-taste maybe due to problems with the keg.

Mitäänsanomaton vehnä, ei millään tavalla innosta. Laimean tunkkainen. Puolikämänen. Kylmempi pitäis olla.
