Very nice beer. Not too heavy, not too light. Nice golden orange color. Very smooth. Good beer for the warm weather. Enjoy.

Poured from draft at vintage lounge. Cloudy orange with white head. Crazy sweet fruity aroma. Taste is slightly bitter, tropical, banana, and also sweet. Not a bad beer

Pours cloudy amber with a white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, light banana and light sulphur. Flavour is caramel, sulphur, fruit and pine. Strange.

Bottle @ home picked up at Supermarket Fort Collins. I was hoping to try this one in Ettal, but actually didn’t make it to Ettal my last trip and never saw this one in the supermarkets. To my great surprise, it showed up at Supermarket Liquor in Fort Collins on sale @ $1.29. Kind of makes me a nervous anytime I see a fire sale on German beer at a liquor store in Colorado, but what the hell. Pours a cloudy, actually quite dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Spicy, bready yeasty, big clove, a bit minty aroma. Body is a bit thin. Fairly citrus forward, a bit spicy, thin bodied, wheat flavor. Bland, not very fun to drink, particularly old, butt fuck it, just looking to catch a buzz tonight. Cheers!

0.5 bottle. Big, thick off-white head with a yellowish tinge. Dark gold in color, relatively hazy. Nice classic aroma, banana, citrus, some vanilla with a little bit of wheat. Sweet taste, much more hay and wheat than in a usual Hefeweizen, actually there is little to none citrus and banana. Medium body, nice creamy texture and soft carbonation. Finish is medium long and sweet, again hay and wheat. Overall the beer is alright, it does not conform to the classics of its style, and has lost the emblematic citrus flavors as well as typical refreshing properties. It does in turn present a very rich and warm mouth-feel, different but not spoiled.

500ml bottle at home. Weird that Licher produced this. Great wheat scent flavor is sweet and complex, nice fruitiness throughout.
