draught at casa de la cerveza in Madrid. Lovely scent, well bodied for a weissen, citrus and banana nicely blended with the wheat. Better in my opinion than most of the popular weissen biers in the market

bottle. cloudy dark gold, almost amber, with a small, stable, creamy head. bruised, overripe bananas and bread pudding aroma. ripe dark fruits, mushy bananas and a floral hop. medium body, creamy. fine carbonation. can’t beat a good german hefe when they are done right. awesome!

500 ml. bottle. Hazy orange color, with a massive dense head that didn’t last as much as it , but s a ring forever. Smell is sweet, banana, cloves, coriander, some orange and papaya. Good mouthfeel, thick texture and good enough carbonation. Palate is too sweet for the style, but a really good one with orange being more noticeable than in it’s in the nose, papaya, cloves, banana and coriander, maybe some pepper too. different, but good.

500ml bottle at home. Weird that Licher produced this. Great wheat scent flavor is sweet and complex, nice fruitiness throughout.

Creamy and dense, whipped up cappuccino foam of white holds a good inch and a half above a hazy, honey amber body. The carbonation fine and bountiful; the lacing enviable. A hint of salted caramel underlies plump, ripe banana and strawberries esters, vanilla icecream and toasted wheat malt on the nose. Boldly flavoured palate full of toasted wheat, tart berries, roasted nuts, caramel and sticky banoffee. Sprightly carbonation softens as it heads towards the tonsils becoming quite smooth and creamy. Good length and residually sweet and malty and hinting at fresh baked biscuits and vanilla icecream. It is a veritable dessert of a weizen. The phenols are evident, clove-like but held low; a woody edge peaks through. Meaty, chunky body; deliciously flavoured and balanced. This is a great weissebier. I loved it. Need more now. Roll on Summer! (50cL, BB 29/03/13, Cellarbrations Carlisle)

The first new weiss I have had in a long time that is worth talking about. This is a quality, classic German Hefeweizen. Beautiful beer, with a tall white head, and different shades of orange color, it looks like egg yolk when the last swirl with sediment goes in. Aroma has wheat and light fruit. Sweet flavor, with more wheat, some citrus, and banana. This is good. Thick palate.

Very nice germen weissbier. hazy look, banana smell and not so much bitterness. I assume that it’s probably not the best wheat beer, but it’s sure a good one.

Hazy, reddish orange colour. Thick, creamy head. Mellow, round wheat aroma. Somewhat spicy, slightly peppery yeastiness with nice peachy frutiness, bubblegum and banana, some cloves. Slightly berryish finish with a hint of cherries. Medium sweet flavor, a hint of bitterness in the finish. Medium body, round and velvety texture. Great weizen.

Bottle: Nice solid hefe weizen, very well crafted and balanced. Full malty / wheat body with not-too-sweet fruity taste. Banana, vanilla, dough. Food Pairing: Weisswurst.
