50 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere.
Pours cloudy orange colour with medium head. Aroma of lightly sour apricot which reminds me of saisons, light caramel, grass, wheat and distant notes of banana. Flavour of apricot and wheat. Medium-bodied, medium co2. Well balanced and surprisingly refreshing.

16.9 oz pours hazy amber with a white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, grain and a hint of bananas. Taste of bread and a hint of sweetness.

Dark orange pour with an aroma of wet hay and a malty sweetness. The taste is medium sweet, with light bitterness and no sourness. Hints of carrot as well. An almost creamy mouth-feel, although the body is light.

Assaggiata in bottiglia da 50 cl. L’aspetto è splendido, forse un po’ troppo ambrata per una weiss, ma con una schiuma alta, persistente e quasi cremosa pur non essendo finissima. Aroma di banana leggero e non troppo evidente. Un buon corpo, una leggera dolcezza e una giusta frizzantezza contribuiscono ad aumentarne la bevibilità, pur restando evidenti le tracce fruttate. Il finale è forse troppo breve

Hazy copper color with a frothy white head that is slow to recede, splashes of lace. This is a very good hefeweizen. Caramel and malted wheat provide a clean start, followed by edgy carbonation bittering, and finishing with a light semi-sweet banana and spice. Well conceived, good-looking, easy to drink, not filling. Highly recommended.

Banana and light spices. Hazy, thick looking with a thick white head. Soft and sour, but controlled. Nice.

(Draught @ Victoria Train Station). A very ’text book’ Hef. I was the only person in the pub drinking this. In a weiss glass the vibrant orange liquid looked way cool to contrast the inferior pisss drank by everyone else. An abundance of textures banana, clove and spicy tart like dryness . A good easy to swill wheat, as all the good ones are , not too cloying and lightly refreshing .

Aroma is saison-like with hints of tartness and sourness. Apricot and wheat, but no banana at all. Hints of yeast and something that reminds me of weissbier – maybe the sweetness and wheat? Flavour is refreshing, a bit floury and very short – almost no aftertaste at all. No banana esthers here either, but maybe some apricot and hints of bubblegum, wheat and yeast. Refreshing and good, but a bit thin. A hefe with a saison twist.

Bottle Rehills Ncl. Pours a cloudy amber-red and has the standard banana and cloves aroma. Very pleasant bittersweet flavour with a nutty finish, rounded and well flavoured. A good Germsn weiss

Aroma of spice and citrus and honey. Prickly carbonation, light biscuit and spice flavours. Medium Light body. Not a huge weiss drinker myself, but this I could drink lots of.
