COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Huit-Huit or Wit-Wit, depending on how you pronounce it, is a collaborative double-wit beer brewed along with Mark Magiera from Bobcat Café in Vermont, where 8 has been an obsession, from recipe to brewing. First brewed in beautiful Vermont last summer, we’ve tried to replicate it here at our Montreal brewpub. Most ingredients remain the same, even the cute little wheat berries from Gleason!

(26 novembre 2012)

Drank on tap (12 oz) at the brewpub on December 2, 2012. Honey golden hazy, medium head. Wheat aroma of spicy coriander and ginger, some citrus notes. Sweet coriandr and ginger taste, some sensation of alcohol, bitter dry spice. The name is not very original, but it’s a good collaboration!

On tap at Benelux in Montreal. Golden-orange body, large white head, decent lacing. Nose is full of wheat, orange rind, lemon zest, mixed cereals, and hints of banana. Flavor is nearly identical with a blend of citric notes, grains, and banana. Medium bodied, assertive carbonation, light bitterness, semi-dry finish.
