en fût sur place, bière sans mousse, pas de gaz carbonique, ambrée foncée, nez de caramel écossais très marqué, diacetyl, manque de caractère, pas dans le style.

(Draught) Sampled at the Brewpub. Pours a medium, white frothy head with a amber body. Nose of yeast and coriander. Very mild and delightful. Thin, lemony, tart and wonderful floral hops. Tart, belgian style. Very solid. Happy.

Hazy dark amber hue, with a small tan-colored head, with a sweet yeasty fruity nose, of ripe apples, a nice nutmeg, cinnamon and clove spiciness aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a spritzy yeasty sweet caramelized malt character, with a fruity accent of ripe apples, figs and plums, a clovey spicy note, leading towards a floral hops and malty finish.

Cloudy brownish copper body with a medium off-white head. Dusty attic, and strong spicy yeast aroma. Probably the type of yeast that always fools me into thinking there are spices when there are none. I like it, very much Belgian. Nice yeasty and malty body with a typical and very lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is both creamy and oily. Once again very belgian. This is a sharp and tasty beer with a roasted peanuts flavour, herbal spices (coriander, cloves and friends), some citrus fruits and woody hops. Very very good. A beer that makes you believe you are in the Benelux, not at the Benelux.

Bu sur place en fut (10 oz). Ambrée foncéw et brumeuse, peu de collet. Arome de malte fruité et épicé. Goût de malte sec et rien d’autre malheureusement.
