Very mild grassy hops atop a lightly fruity and lightly grainy aroma. Brilliantly clear golden body is topped by a low white head that recedes to a lasting cover and ring with very slight lace. Clean, fresh malt flavour with a touch of corn joined by herbal, grassy hop character leading through to a fair bitterness in the finish. Some fruity yeast character is notable but not dominant. Sweetness is lasting in the finish. Light body with strong carbonation but somewhat watery texture. Sampled on tap at the brewpub.

The pour reveals a clear pale gold color with a ring of white lace. Aroma and flavor of lemon with shy hops and malt. The body is light with a texture bordering on watery and lively carbonation. This more basic than the lager rousse, it seems intended to customers who don’t like craft beer or are beginning try craft beer.

Golden lager with a thick creamy white head. A nice Saaz hops in aroma, (Ben indicated they also use Tettnang also), crisp and classy. A fresh mashed malt in mouth, with crisp hops comming out well. A nice summer beer. On tap at BP Aug. 12, 2006.

I’m confused by the reviews on this beer. Most seem to be for something totally different from what I had (right down to the color). Clear blonde-yellow body without much head. What I had is exactly what it claims to be, a totally harmless light American lager. Professionally brewed with no default beer for the mass but not even tasty enough to describe it. Each pub needs one of these, I should just stop tasting them. Could have been called Blondweiser.

Bright yellow color, with a white head, pale malt, grainy, bready nose, with a hint of cereals in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a crisp pale malt, hint of floral hops, touch of fruitiness, leading towards a sweet malty and faint hops bittering finish.

Bu sur place dans un échantion de 4 oz. Blonde très claire, mini collt. Arome de malte sucré. Goût de malte riche, un peu de zeste.

Draught pint shared at the brewpub with tiggmtl during the Mondial, 2006. The pour is a very clear, static gold with just a whisper of head....nose is predominantly malty-sweet, lightly grainy and rough, touched by dry grasses....clean, sweet body with rather low carbonation, full and bright on the tongue....just a faint hint of piny bitterness to finish. Pretty decent lager but not really memorable.

Any first impressions?
-A veil of foam hangs atop the clear copper; in the dimmed lighting, it could be taken for their Rye P.A.
-Dry cereals gently mixes with the earthy caramel.
-Peach fruitiness and soft cereals express themselves very clearly, never monotously.
-Mouthfeel is very similar to the 2 other I tried that day (Wit and Rye P.A.), pretty carbonated, but with ample maltiness to compensate.

What if you dig deeper?
-Earthy, wooden back hoppiness fits within the grain.
-Minute citrus plays around the soft, bready cereal.
-More flavorful than what you’d expect from its name, this is another überclean, bureaucratic pint focused on drinkability.

On tap at the brewpub.

Robe blonde très claire surmontée d’une mousse blanche qui s’estompe. Arômes de céréales et de houblon amérisant. Saveurs de céréales, de houblon amérisant et de malt caramélisé.
