PilsnerPeter (1723), Flushing, New York, USA Jan 8, 2009 Tap at the Brewpub: Amber pour with a dense off white film of head. The aroma combines spicy American hops and a nutty crystal malt presence. Fluffy feel, with a lightly sweet nutty flavor. The deep malty grain flavors are balanced by a hearty amount of spicy/smooth hops making a resiny bitter finish. A nice American style Brown Ale. CapFlu (3364), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Aug 23, 2008 (Draught) Sampled at the Brewpub. Pours a thin, white web of white foam abd flavour of heavy malt. Flavour is tart for a brown, high hop profile, but iteresting. LadySusan (386), Ste-Therese, Quebec, Canada Aug 13, 2008 On tap at Benelux. The color is a dark brown, not much head. The taste is malty and also of nuts, with a sweet taste of caramel added on. It finishes with a bitter taste of hops and citrus fruits that is just a good way to end this one, DougShoemaker (2680), Toronto, Canada Jun 5, 2008 On tap @ Mondial 2008.
Nose is a fine roasted malt, caramel, hazy deep copper. A rich malty flavour, nutty as well. Mredium bodied, well balanced, beautifully bitter and dry. Quite nice! MartinT (4497), Montreal, Quebec, Canada May 3, 2008 My Bottom Line:
An amiable alliance of roasted chestnuts and caramel leans onto an earthy hop finish to provide a suave, balanced pint of Brown Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam shields the burgundy brown.
-The body is well built, lightly creamy, and conducive to high drinkability.
-The hop bitterness is also resinous at times.
-A undefined fruitiness seeps from the grain bill and chosen yeast.
