(Rating #2900)

Pint on tap at Benelux. It pours amber with a thin head which was present for the duration. The aroma was biscut malt with hints of hop. Well balanced in both aroma and taste, very easy to drink. Almost sweet. Overall this is another very nice beer from Benelux. A little strong for a session beer, but that would not stop me from having another one.

In short: A nourishing pint of toasted biscuit malts and fruity hops
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear golden body topped by a long-lasting small beige head
In long: Pleasant nose of fruity (orange/citrus) hops. Taste has a lot of toasted biscuit malts, a bit grainy. Slightly resinous fruity (orange/citrus) hops. Overall orange cake sensation. A little fluffy. Rather nourishing, this is not just a pint of juicy hops. A really nice one. I want to say something to the brewer of this beer but I can’t seem to find the right word. Congratulations… not quite. Well-done… not quite either. I give up.

Drank on tap (20 oz) at the brewpub, on February 14, 2010. Coppery orange, medium head. Sweet aroma of hops, citrus notes. Flavor of hops a little dry, notes of herbs, slightly bitter. Nicely well done!

Clear dark golden color with a medium white head. Nice aroma of resinous, fruity hops and toasted hops. Very good flavor of floral, resinous, fruity hops, toasted malt and bitterness in the end. The body is medium with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. This is quite good!
