3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Boutip (3451) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 22, 2010
Draft: Poured a slight hazy bright yellowish color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of floral and dry European hops is dominating and quite pleasant. Taste is a nice mix between a sweet malt base with limited caramel malt presence (that you would usually find in an IPA) and loads of floral hops with a lightly bitter and astringent finish. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well done the huge hops presence was very refreshing.

Flavour: Initially quite yeasty at first but once that clears the malt, raisins, toffee and indeed citrus comes through. This has a nice long malt & hop finish with just a slight hint of alcohol.
