on cask @ Benelux: This was the fresh cask version and the pour was cloudy orange with a thin head that left a nice lacing. The aroma was leafy and green with some citrus. It tasted sweet and yeasty. Overall this was a yummy saison, the perfect beer for a spring day in Montreal. Even better that was fresh from the cask.

Copper blonde with a nice white head. the nose is dominated by a bready-yeasty mix rather uninteresting. Medium body, very sweet for the style, grainy with medium bitterness. Long sticky finale. I would have like this one to be dryer...

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. A decent saison, nothing exceptional, nice drinking.. A nice bitterness is the distinction, more so than I would expect for the saison. Yeast takes a secondary role, not much noticed in the spice department. Soft mouthfeel.

[on tap at brewpub] Fruity aroma with oranges and celery. Yellowish-orange and hazy with a thin white cover. Pleasant sour wheat flavour with a nice balancing moderate bitterness and complex herb and buttery finish. Light to medium body, herbal, slightly bitter finish, medium carbonation.

Aroma: honey, fresh hops, citric semi dry sides. Clean approachable nose . Very neat set up. 8-
Appearance: slight haze on amber. Medium creamy off white top. Good lace. Presentable.
Palate / Taste: Medium bodied. Dry with alcoholic elements. Hint fo wheat. Soft yet dry hop influence. Finishing with more alcohol. Good.

on tap at quebec city beerfest. light hazy golden, decent white head, good retention and lacing. lots of wheat, citrus. average carbonation, light body. feels more of a wheat ale than a saison.

Belle couleur orange trouble. Un peu skunky au nez. Épicé avec une bonne amertume. Beaucoup trop d’effervescence.

Aroma is average witbier smells; wait, isn’t this supposed to be a saison? Has a nice foggy orange body and decent head in a curvy glass. Flavour is all witbier taste of citrus and it has a bit of a cloying detergent aftertaste. Okay mouthfeel. This ain’t no saison, it’s just a boring attempt at a Belgian witbier!
