Bu sur place, en fut (12 oz). Miel dorée, mince collet. Arome de seigle très présant et agréable, notes de malte épicés, un peu houblonné. Assez bon goût goût de seigle épicé, un peu malté avec des notes de fruits sûrettes.

Une robe embrouillée et dorée. Un anneau de mousse et sa dentelle. Un nez épicé avec des malts à la Belge et des fruits qui baignent dans un alcool justement tonitruant. Des saveurs qui permettent de chaudes envolées mielleuses, une douceur heureusement contenue par un alcool floral et par des houblons pratiquement vigoureux. De brillantes envolées proposées par une levure expressive. Un corps qui me semble rond : mes papilles acceptent cette caresse avec bonheur. Une effervescence qui apporte un souffle certain. Une finale qui n’est jamais brûlante : des houblons et du seigle pour couronner le tout. Excellente proposition à partager ou à boire en dégustation.

on tap at brewpub. nice golden, slight haze, nice white head and lacing. light acidity, light toasted malts, wheat, rye?, pepper, citrus, vanilla. lively, medium body, hint of sweetness, nice citrusy-grassy finish. very good brew!

Draft: Poured a light hazy beige color ale with a medium size foamy head with light lacing notes. Aroma is nice complex mix between light fruity ester with indigenous yeast and some semi-sweet Belgian style malt notes. Taste is a nice mix between some lightly funky yeast with notes of fruity ester and a semi-sweet solid Belgian-style malt backbone with an herbal finish. Body is maybe a bit light for style with no apparent alcohol. Definitely one of the best beer I tried while I was there.

Draft. Pours a golden body with a white head and okay head retention. Fruity with apricots, peach, and hints of fruit punch. A nice spicy body pepper, herbal, and drying. A hint of citrus and wheat. Nice for a big saison.

Draft. Crystal clear amber body topped by large off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, peach/perfume, some straw. Taste is sweet, perfume, some peach, alcohol, straw, light berry. Medium body, light stickiness.

Sampled at the 2010 VT Brewers Fest - Poured a orange amber in color with a small white head. Aroma is citrusy with the rye coming through as spiciness. Flavor was fairly fruity with plenty of citrus, the spicy rye and mild of grassy hops. Unusual and truly excellent...

Sampled at vt brewfest. Pours a golden orange color with a white head. Aroma was yeasty with coriander, citrus and other spices. Flavor was spicy and peppery with faint citrus, yeast and alcohol.

Tap at brewpub and Mondial 2009. Like an Imperial Saison... Very peppery, with a leafy hopping and an overall citrusy character. Another good Saison from this brewer, but the booziest of them...
